Clearlight Beacon 50W LED Retrofit

Recognized as the LED retrofit for HID NEMA Type V dusk-till-dawn fixtures, this 50W luminaire consumes over 50% less energy than a 100W HPS and 70% less energy than a 175W Mercury Vapor bulb. Available in two different lengths, long and short. With its own primary optics, the Long Beacon delivers .01 footcandles (full moonlight) at over 4 mounting heights.

Recommended Practice: Wire around the legacy HID ballast for additional energy and maintenance savings. Always install a Clearlight in the 'light down' direction.

Thermal Management: Clearlights use both active and passive cooling making it an superior retrofit. Active cooling uses no bearings, brushes, or other frictional parts to rub or wear out and has low acoustical emissions. LED life is assured by thermal management protection circuity that controls current levels to the the LEDs based on temperature.
