Clearlight Short Beacon 50W LED Luminaire

The Clearlight Beacon is the place to start when retrofitting your old dusk-till-dawn fixtures. This short version of the Beacon places the light source higher up in the fixture for those customers who wish to use the refractor optics of the legacy device to modify the light distribution.

The Short Clearlight Beacon 50W LED retrofit comes in a mogul base, GU-24 base, or medium (E26) base. Depending on the fixture, mogul base, or medium base, Short Beacons are approved for use in dusk-till-dawn, outdoor fixtures using 50-175W Mercury Vapor, or 70-150W High Pressure Sodium bulbs. This 50W luminaire consumes over 50% less energy than a 100W HPS and 70% less energy than a 175W Mercury Vapor bulb. The GU-24 base Short Beacon works in most soffit fixtures using up to 175W incandescent or HID bulbs.

Properties: NEMA Type 5, IESNA Type V, circular light pattern on ground with equal light distribution.

Use: Street, area or canopy lighting that requires a wide distribution of light on the ground.
